What does RETUSH do?
RETUSH is a post-production agency based in Munich, Germany. We retouch campaigns, lookbooks, editorials and product images, and also offer compositing and CGI, look development, digital capture on set, and prepress, final artwork and proofing.
Who do you work for?
Brands, advertising agencies, production companies, photographers and magazines, mainly in fashion, beauty, eyewear, jewellery and consumer goods. Our clients include international brands and magazines such as JOOP!, BOSS, Fielmann, Ferrero and many more.
What does retouching with RETUSH cost?
That depends on the image and the effort involved, so after your briefing we quote a fixed fee per image instead of hourly rates. You know your costs before we start, with no surprises on the invoice. Clients with a framework agreement receive special terms.
How long does a project take?
At the start we always agree on a timing that works for both sides, so every deadline is safe. We usually deliver correction rounds within 24 to 48 hours of receiving your feedback.
How does working together work?
After your enquiry we clarify brief, image count, look and timing and send you a quote. Once approved, we retouch, you give feedback in our online tool, and we deliver the final files in the formats you need.
How are corrections coordinated?
Through our online feedback tool. Brand, agency and photographer add their comments directly on the image, in one central place, without long email threads.
Which formats do you deliver?
High-resolution TIFF or PSD files, layered on request; JPG or PNG for web, e-commerce and social; print-ready CMYK according to Fogra including a proof; or exactly to your specifications for profiles, sizes and file naming.
Can you adapt a campaign to many formats?
Yes. Especially for advertising campaigns we adapt key visuals for out-of-home, print, digital and social, taking the resolution, bleed and colour profile of each medium into account.
Do you offer digital capture on set?
Yes, across Germany with Munich as our base. Our digital operators back up the data on set, align the look and, on request, retouch directly on location.
How do you handle confidential campaigns?
Discreetly. On request we sign a non-disclosure agreement before the project starts, and we only show work after launch and client approval.
Where is our image data stored?
Your data is stored with us in Germany. A data processing agreement under the GDPR is available on request.
Do you work with international clients?
Yes. We work digitally for brands and agencies across Europe and beyond, in German and English.
