Showpieces in golden yellow and in black and white: this Cosmopolitan story pairs satin and lace lingerie with silk shirts and pared-back studio light. Glossy fabrics reveal every unevenness, so we modelled the light on the satin to flow softly. The skin stays natural, with texture and no plastic effect, and the black-and-white images gained subtle grey gradations.
