Guido Cover

Sometimes with a cane in front of white shelves, sometimes behind a mountain of shopping bags: the GUIDO covers show the magazine's namesake in a new role every time. Covers have to work instantly at the newsstand. We kept skin tones and blacks clean, drew bags, hatboxes and props precisely and made the white and dusty-pink backgrounds calm enough for headlines and typography to sit perfectly on top.
