Bubble wrap as a throne: the denim story for InStyle Germany places jeans against a pink wall, crinkling plastic and stark black and white. Distressed details, frayed hems and studs want to be seen. We brought out the texture of the denim in colour and monochrome alike, calmed the reflections on the wrap and gave the black-and-white images a tonal curve with deep blacks and open highlights.
